Chimayo Sunset Rub

Wonderful on all pork barbecue. Spinkle on anything that needs a bit of flair, nice on fruit, duck, and fish as well.

 

Ingredients:
  1. 1/2 cup Mild Chimayo Chile Powder (order it here)
  2. 1/2 cup Paprika
  3. 1/4 cup Light Brown Sugar
  4. 1/4 cup Kosher Salt
  5. 1/4 cup Ground Cumin Seeds
  6. 1/4 cup Garlic Powder
  7. 2 tablespoons Mustard Powder
  8. 2 tablespoons Black Pepper
  9. 2 tablespoons Chipotle Powder
Directions:

Combine all ingredients into a large bowl

Mix thoroughly making sure to get ingredients from the bottom of the bowl.

Sift though a screen to break up brown sugar completely and remove any large particles.

Store in a sealed container - Stores indefinitely, disappears quickly. :)
